About me

I’m Peter Steiner or just Pesche for short. I live in Fribourg/Freiburg and work at Worldline Switzerland.

I like running and hiking; instead of a car I own a bike and I commute by train, trying to minimize my carbon footprint in order to keep this planet a liveable world for my granddaughter.

About 45 years ago I discovered my passion with a Texas Instruments TI-57, Basic and Pascal, and I started earning money as a developer in 1989, first with C, C++ and Make, now with Java and Maven.

As developer and software architect I strive for programs that are readable not only for the computer but also for humans.
